BIO
Born in Malaga, his curious and eclectic personality leads him to work on projects in various disciplines. He studied composition at the Superior Music Conservatory of Aragon (C.S.M.A.) with Agustín Charles, Jesús Navarro, Juanjo Eslava, Nacho de Paz, and Borja Quintas. At the same time, he trained in improvisation and jazz piano. Simultaneously, collaborating with Elena Ruiz-Ortega and the C.S.M.A. Chamber Choir he discovered his passion for choral composition.
In 2020, he won the 41st International Frédéric Mompou Award in Barcelona with Neon Issues: Saxophone and Accordion Duo.
In 2021, he participated in the Innopraktika and Russian Seasons School Music Session 2021, a three-week stay in St. Petersburg to compose and premiere an orchestral piece: The Nightingale and the Rose: Romanza on Bulerías.
Commissioned by the Goya Foundation to write an opera for choir, actors, and ensemble about Goya’s last years: Francisco de Goya: Going elsewhere through Music.
He has recently received commissions for choral works from the Vancouver Chamber Choir (Canada), from the Ejea de los Caballeros Choral Competition (Zaragoza), from the Saulus Festival (Zaragoza) and the Nubah Choir (Granada).
He has studied music for visual media at the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon and at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. Recently, he is working with young filmmakers on different projects in Lyon and Gent, and working as an orchestrator for Dirk Brossé.
In 2025, he received First Prize at the Rachmaninoff International Competition, premiering Synapsis Piano Concerto in the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory.
